HYDRO EXCAVATION |

Hydro excavation is the science of digging with water.
KBS’s hydro excavation process uses state of the art
mobile equipment, utilising pressurised water and
vacuuming process to dig a hole or area, eliminating the
risk of damaging existing underground infrastructures
such as fibre optic cables, sewer pipes, dangerous gas
lines or process lines. |

Conventional methods of digging using mechanical
excavators risk damage which can physically harm
operators and shut down construction or industrial
projects, all requiring costly repairs. The process
of hydro excavation allows operators to dig in
restricted areas where conventional digging is not
possible. Hydro excavation allows KBS operators
to dig through clay, frozen ground, semi-rocky
terrain and under concrete surfaces, with the
minimum of fuss. |

KBS customised Hydro Excavation tooling
is directed at the desired excavation point.
The water/soil mixture is vacuumed into
high capacity vacuum units, which may be
disposed of on or off-site, which minimises
restoration costs associated with traditional
digging. The process is repeated until the
desired depth and width are achieved. |
